Athletes Helping Athletes, Inc. exists to provide both financial support, through fund-raising for Special Olympics and Special Needs Programs throughout Bucks County and the surrounding area. Plus, awareness and community support for the special athletes through their inclusion in local school athletic functions and the opportunity to serve as Honorary Team Captains at home games are the highlights of our program.

We have instituted events, like "Football Fun Night," "Basketball Fun Night", “Tennis Night,” and "Spring Training Baseball Day," for the purpose of having local high school coaches and players teach the game to our special needs athletes, and making sure that having fun while learning is a priority.

Entering our ninth year in 2010, we have raised over $180,000 for our various charities, through our sponsored golf outing, and individual team fundraisers in partnership with the Council Rock North and South High School Boys and Girls Basketball teams, the Football teams, the CRN Girls Volleyball and Boys Soccer teams, and other generous supporters throughout the Council Rock School District. This past season we were proud to add the Neshaminy Girls’ Basketball Team to the AHA, Inc. family. Plus, we are looking forward to the addition of Archbishop Woods’ various athletic and student council programs this Fall. The students have already formed a committee to help facilitate support for AHA Inc. and the special needs programs that we assist.

AHA, Inc. is extremely grateful for the volunteers, the generosity and the compassion shown to our Special Needs Community. We are amazed at the energy, the passion, and the innovative ideas that each and every school has put into their individual fund raising efforts, plus their individual Honorary Captain Program!
